Forms:

Forms is a tool for collecting data from users. Once you want to make a survey and collect some information from the users you have to create a form by using <form> element. The collected data from the form usully sent in name or value pairs.

Form process:

  1. A user fills in a form and then presses a button to submit the information to the server.
  2. The name of each form control is sent to the server along with the value the user enters or selects.
  3. The server processes the information using a programming language such as PHP, C#, VB.net, or Java. It may also store the information in a database.
  4. The server creates a new page to send back to the browser based on the information received.

CSS

Lists, Tables and Forms:

There are a specific properties in CSS that is used to control the appearance of lists, tables and forms.

In order to change the appearances of a list you have to use one of these markers list-style-type and list-style properties. Also you can change the table looks by controlling the borders and spacing in order to make them more consistent. Using forms become easier if it vertically aligned by CSS. In addition styling forms make them more interactive to users such as below:

JavaScript

Events

Events are the things that happen to HTML elements and it can be something the browser or a user does, such as when a page has finished loading or a button has been clicked. JavaScript lets you execute code when events are detected. Binding is the process of which event is about to happen, and which element shall allow that event to happen. Once the event occurs on an element, it will force the JavaScript function to run.

The most commonly used events are W3C DOM events, although there are others in the HTMLS specification as well as browser-specific events.
